It doesn't cost even 0AP to pick up object, Picking-up an item is not an action. It can be done freely in the movement AP. Or you will have problems with the Golden Rules :)

Yes, the exact sentence is that "during your move, you can pick up or drop an object freely while passing on a square". So technicaly, because it's free, it cost like: 0 AP, no?
